AMBULANCE serves the Tri-State and offers a full range of medical
transportation services ranging from the most advanced high-risk
critical care emergency transports such as neonatal and ventilator
patients as well as patients requiring cardiac surgical intervention.
PORTSMOUTH AMBULANCE SERVICE specializes in non-emergency services,
including pre-scheduled admissions and discharges, transportation
to and from doctors' offices and nursing homes and other treatment
centers such as dialysis, radiation and physical therapy.
In addition to state-of-the-art medical transports, we provide
a professionally staffed communications center with certified Emergency
Medical Dispatchers to coordinate transportation to meet your needs
at a significant benefit to our patients and customers.
PORTSMOUTH AMBULANCE SERVICE works with individual hospitals, nursing
homes, and other medical facilities to coordinate an appropriate
and timely response to your needs.

Hot Dog Sell. Wurtland, KY: Wurtland Nursing and Rehabilitation
will be having a hot dog sell Friday April 25th, 10am to 3pm. Proceeds
will help with patient activities.

4-24-08 KDMC's weight loss program launches new site
ASHLAND -- King's Daughters Medical Center's Surgical Weight Loss
program has launched an updated version of its Web site, yourhealthylife.org.
The new site has an eight-minute video that guides visitors through
the program, explaining the basics and helping people determine if
Surgical Weight Loss is right for them.

Hunt Ashland, KY: Portsmouth Ambulance Service with Wurtland
Nursing and Rehabilitation are sponsoring an Easter egg hunt this
Sunday
the 16th. The event will take place beside the nursing home facility
located at 100 Wurtland Ave in Wurtland, KY. Age groups will
divided as follows: 0-2 years, 3-5 years, 6-9 years and 10 – 12
years.
